On 26 September 2007 the opening ceremony of Balsts office network took place in Teika Office, at Brīvības gatve 302. Teika Office was visited by those wishing to express congratulations and journalists for whom the press conference was organized to celebrate the opening at which the Board Chairman of Balsts, Aigars Zariņš told about future plans and development of the company.

Already for two years, shortly before the change of the years – on 22 December 2007, Balsts employees went to visit about 20 low-income families all over Latvia to share the Christmas joys with them and bring gifts provided from the bottom of the people’s hearts. With the help of donators and their diligent helpers we managed to get almost everything that was requested – both the daily goods of first necessity and gifts and sweets for the little ones. We would like to thank everybody who participated and supported the event financially, with their work and the warmth of their hearts!
